 The
North Kansas City Business Council is made up of business men and women
working together to stimulate commerce, promote tourism, enhance the
quality of life and improve the business climate in North Kansas City,
Missouri.
The Business Council strives to meet its goals through the work of
its six active committees - Beautification, Government Affairs,
Industrial, Membership, Retail / Promotions and
Publications which meet regularly
to address current and future concerns in the community. The
Council also monitors city and county government actions for issues
that may impact member businesses.
By publishing the informative newsletter, "Going
North," hosting
monthly luncheon meeting, issuing periodic "Business
Alert" notices
and printing an annual "Membership Directory & Buyer's
Guide," the Council keeps its members
informed of issues important to local business.
The Business Council actively supports such local events as "Snake
Saturday", " Spring
and Fall Beautification Days", "Friday
in the Park Concerts" and special promotions like March's "Pot-O-Gold" contest
and the "Winter Wonderland in North Kansas City" festivities.
